Veg. Chinese Fried Rice- #Lunch Recipe

This recipe is my all time favourite! :) I am perfect at making this recipe. I have made it over ten times and I just love it because it can be prepared with so much of ease. You can have it as lunch or dinner. It suits well in both cases. Its super delicious an you can make it in no time!

You can actually prepare them when you have leftover basmati rice, but you have finished the side curry! Even, I had leftover Jeera Rice that we have with Curry :P , I didn't prepare the rice specially! Well, I will post some "Curry" recipes to have as a side dish with rice. But that's later..coming back to the simple recipe.

Prep Time: 20 min  Cook Time: 15 min

Serves: 2 (but if you like to eat too much than just serves 1)

Ingredients:

Cooked Basmati Rice- 2 cups
Cabbage (finely chopped)- 1 cup {Note: After chopping cabbage, take boiling water and add the chopped cabbage into it, so that all the germs die!}- this step is very very important!
Capsicum- 1 small sized sliced longitudinally
Onions- 1 small sized chopped
Black Pepper- 1/2 tsp
Red Chili Powder- 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1/2 tsp
Garlic- 6 to 8 cloves (chopped)
Ajinomoto- 1/2 tbsp
Vinegar- 1 tbsp
Soy Sauce- 1 tbsp
Tomato Ketchup- as per taste (optional)
Olive Oil/ Refined Oil- as required

Method:

  1. Take a pan, add little oil and heat it. Then add chopped garlic and let it turn golden and then add onions. Stir the onions so that they become pinkish.
  2. Then, add capsicums and cabbage also. Stir- fry them and after that all the spices. 
  3. After this, add ajinomoto and let it melt on low flame. After the ajinomoto is fully incorporated with the veges, add soy sauce and vinegar. Mix everything well.
  4. Add the tomato ketchup as much as you want and mix well.Then add all the rice and stir the rice in the veggie- mix.
  5. Add more ketchup if you want, then serve hot on a plate and enjoy!!! :D

Take all the ingredients

Heat some oil

Add chopped garlic

Add chopped onions

Add chopped capsicum

Add cabbage

Add all the spices

Add ajinomoto

Mix the ajinomoto and let it melt

Add soy sauce

Add vinegar



Add tomato ketchup

Mix the tomato ketchup and veggies well

Add all the rice

Mix everything


Serve hot
